A GRAVITY PROPELLED HAMSTER TOY 

BRIEF -
Understanding the basic principle of gravity propelled ( passively energised ) toys and converting into a form which should be attractive​ yet playful to the kids. The form should be easily mass manufactured.

An insight
The body of the toy should be symmetric across both the planes.

UNDERSTANDING, TRYOUTS AND PROOF OF CONCEPT -
The working model is made with taking reference from the research papers. After understanding the working principle, tryouts are done with soft material. Final product is made in wood as a proof of concept.

PROTOTYPE AND WORKING -
A Medium-fidelity prototype is made using veneer plywood and solid wood. To play the game, a kid has to rotate the wheel and maintain the synchronisation between speed of wheel and the speed of walker. The kid who will be able to do so for longer run will be declared as winner.
