BACKGROUND AND INSPIRATION -
Wood is the first thing which comes into mind when talking about furniture. Generally wood for a chair need special attention, inspection and care while fabrication. But then the question comes what will happen to those discarded logs of woods which were unable to make its journey to the end. Also what a chair can do more than just for sitting. Here comes a concept name Jooga. Jooga, the word derives from the philosophy of JUGAAD. It is a combination of aesthetics as well as functional aspect. The chair beautifully embraces the human body and provides a versatile tab thus increasing the usability beyond the expectations.

FLATPACK, TRANSPORTATION AND VERSATILE MECHANISM -
Jooga’s design follows a simple manufacturing process. The parts are made up of thinner logs of wood pieces. Also the necessary operations need basic manufacturing tools and steps. The concept can be knock down using simple hand tools. The whole chair can fit into a box which can have dimensions of 2.7 ft by 2 ft by 0.6 ft by 0.6 ft.

LOW FIDELITY PROTOTYPE -
A low-fidelity prototype is made using readily available teakwood and metal sheets. The major parts of chair are made up of discarded
things. The whole assembly is standing on nut and bolts. No permanent joints are used.
