FLIPPY

A PLAYFUL MOBILE STAND

INSPIRATION -

In the movie, a good dinosaur, Arlo is a cute, big and playfuL friend. For the mobile stand, I took arlo as an inspiration. Flippy is a metaphor of the Arlo. It will never let you bore. Just flip it and have fun with it.

TRYOUTS AND BASIC CONCEPT -

Basic working model is made up of the cardboard. Tryouts are also done to check the application. After iterations final product architecture is selected and made up using sheet metal.

VISUALISATION AND FINAL FORM IN PLASTIC-

Visualised using different stickers and two models are made in acrylic using spot heat bending.
